DESCRIPTION:A visit to newspapers\, radio\, and broadcast spaces\nAbout the
  Program\nThis program is a guided exploration of how media works\, from ga
 thering information to publishing\, broadcasting\, and reaching the public.
 \nChildren will visit media spaces such as a newspaper office\, radio stati
 on (All India Radio\, if possible)\, and\, subject to permissions\, a telev
 ision studio. The aim is to help them understand how news and information a
 re created\, verified\, recorded\, and shared.\nWhat will children explore?
 \nThrough guided observation and conversation\, participants will explore:\
 n\n\nHow news stories are identified and developed\n\n\nThe difference betw
 een reporting\, editing\, and publishing\n\n\nHow newspapers are designed a
 nd printed\n\n\nHow radio programs are recorded and broadcast\n\n\nThe role
  of sound\, voice\, and silence in communication\n\n\nThe responsibilities 
 and ethics involved in media and journalism\n\n\nChildren will also get a c
 hance to:\n\n\nAsk questions directly to media professionals\n\n\nObserve w
 orkspaces and tools used in media\n\n\nReflect on how the media shapes publ
 ic understanding and opinion\n\nCareers in Media and lifelong learning\n\nW
 hy this matters\nIn a world filled with constant information and misinforma
 tion\, learning how media works is an important step toward:\n\n\nDevelopin
 g media literacy\n\n\nUnderstanding bias\, credibility\, and sources\n\n\nB
