Every weekend, children gather in our learning centers to play in nature, explore, and learn together. These huddles create a sense of community and belonging while allowing kids to engage in unstructured, curiosity-driven learning. Whether it’s discovering local wildlife, experimenting with science, or simply sharing stories, our weekend huddles help children reconnect with nature and each other. Currently we have centers in Koyilandi. Planning to restart our centers in Angamaly, and Thiruvananthapuram.

I'm usually the first friendly voice you'll hear from Walking Ferns. I stay connected with parents and volunteers, share updates, and keep our WhatsApp community buzzing. I also spend time with children as a learning facilitator, which is easily my favourite part of the day.

Fun fact: I've read the same picture book ten times and still laugh at it every single time.

Manager – Operations

I help keep the day-to-day operations at Walking Ferns running smoothly, overseeing administration, finance, and HR. I'm also a mental health professional who believes in creating a safe, welcoming community where people of all ages can learn, grow, and be themselves.

My superpower: Bringing clarity to chaos—both in systems and in people.

I'm passionate about creating learning environments where children can develop curiosity, responsibility, and a strong sense of self. Through Walking Ferns, I work with families, facilitators, and children to explore alternatives to conventional education and design meaningful learning experiences rooted in real life.

My superpower: Asking questions that make people think differently.
