Let’s build Walking Ferns together
This initiative is built on the belief that education belongs to the community. If this vision resonates with you, here is how you can help us take the next step.
Help Walking Ferns Grow
Walking Ferns is a community-led initiative rooted in the Sarang way of education, where learning stems from life, community, and curiosity. We envisage growing this network of learning spaces across South India, creating environments where education is lived and shared.
This vision moves forward whenever you share our story with a new family, offer a space for a hub, volunteer your skills to guide our children, or contribute financially to strengthen our foundation. No effort is too small; every gesture helps us reach one more family and take this initiative to the next step.
You can support Walking Ferns in simple, meaningful ways:

Contribute Financially
I’m starting this journey by setting aside ₹2,00,000 from my gratuity as a small shared fund. If Walking Ferns resonates with you, you are welcome to add to it, so we can grow this together.
Your support helps me:
- Rent and curate local learning spaces (the focus is on hosting, not owning land).
- Fairly compensate our facilitators and artisans.
- Ensure accessibility for families through subsidized costs.
