Radio Kochuvarthanam

Welcome to Kochuvarthanam!

Straight from the hearts of our little storytellers, singers, scientists, and comedians — Kochuvarthanam is a child-led audio series created during the Walking Ferns camps and beyond. Each episode is a mix of songs, stories, jokes, news, and curious conversations — all imagined and recorded by parents and children.

Tune in and travel into their world of wonder, learning, and laughter.

Meet the Radio Kochuvarthanam Crew

Behind every delightful broadcast is a spirited team of young radio makers who bring curiosity, care, and a touch of chaos to the studio! At Radio Kochuvarthanam, each camper takes on a role just like in a real radio station — collecting stories, managing time, editing magic, and more. Guiding them all is our beloved Station Master, Pandichan, who makes sure the mics are live and the ideas flow.

Albert
(Time Manager)

Keeping track of intros, outros, and airtime — Albert makes sure we don’t turn a 5-minute joke into a 30-minute monologue. Timing is everything in radio!

Parthan
( Editor-in-Chief)

The brain behind the broadcast! Parthan listens carefully, trims the extra giggles (sometimes), and puts the puzzle together to make sure each episode flows like a story.

Hiranya
(Creative Spark)

When we’re stuck or silent, Hiranya jumps in with wild ideas, jingles, and just the right dash of imagination to keep the energy buzzing.

Albin
(Records Collector)

The brain behind the broadcast! Parthan listens carefully, trims the extra giggles (sometimes), and puts the puzzle together to make sure each episode flows like a story.

Pandichan (aka Gautham)
(Station Master)

From mending broken mics to calming stage fright, Pandichan keeps the whole station running smoothly. He’s our go-to guy for everything — tech, tea, and tiny humans. One day, a young voice from our Walking Ferns family might take over this seat!
