Film Making Workshop
This is a basic, hands-on introduction to filmmaking, designed to help children understand what actually goes into making a film, from idea to screen.
Over three days, participants will work together to plan, shoot, and edit a short film, experiencing each stage of the process in a simple, accessible way. The focus is on understanding the process, not on technical perfection.
 What will we explore?
Children will be introduced to:

Idea development and simple storytelling

Script and scene planning

Basics of storyboarding

Shooting using DSLR camera and mobile phones

Working with natural light, reflectors, and minimal artificial lighting

Introduction to cinematography and framing

Basic sound recording

Editing using Canva (video) and Audacity (audio)

Understanding pre-production, production, and post-production and planning
If available, a guest expert in photography may join to specifically explore visual composition and photography basics.
How will the workshop work?

The workshop will end with a short film created by the group

Tools and methods used will be simple and accessible, so children can continue experimenting later on their own
